Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' continues its winning streak; to become fastest film to cross Rs 500 crore

Sunny Deol's latest release, 'Gadar 2,' continues to shatter box office records nearly four weeks after hitting theaters, approaching the coveted Rs 500 crore milestone.

With a remarkable collection of Rs 493.37 crore at the national box office, the film raked in an additional Rs 5.72 crore on its fourth Saturday.

'Gadar 2,' a sequel to the 2001 hit 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,' was released on August 11 and stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in lead roles.

The film is set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war and continues the story of Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) and Sakeena (Ameesha Patel), who are now in a happy marriage with their son Charan Jeet Singh, portrayed by Utkarsh Sharma, all grown up.

Charan Jeet's journey to Pakistan sets off a chain of events that leads Tara Singh back to Pakistan to save his son.

The success of 'Gadar 2' has garnered acclaim not only from audiences but also from Bollywood celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Kartik Aaryan, and Akshay Kumar, who have praised the film's remarkable performance.
