Lalit Modi and Sushmita Sen have been making headlines ever since they announced that they are dating each other. The couple is being trolled online with some dubbing the actor as a 'gold digger.' The former Miss Universe posted a perfect reply to the trolling on Sunday. Sharing a picture of herself from her recent trip with the former IPL chairman, she wrote, 'Perfectly centered in my being & my conscience…I love how nature merges all its creation to experience oneness…and just how divided we are, when we break that balance.'
She further added that it's heartbreaking to see how 'miserable and unhappy' the world is becoming.
'The so-called intellectuals with their idiosyncrasies... the ignorant with their cheap and at times funny gossip... The friends I never had and the acquaintances I've never met all sharing their grand opinions and deep knowledge of my life and character, monetising the 'Gold Digger' all the way!!! Ah, these geniuses!!!,' Sushmita Sen wrote.
'I dig deeper than Gold and I've always (famously) preferred Diamonds!! And yes I still buy them myself!!!' the actor said.
Sushmita concluded her post by saying, 'I love the all heart support my well wishers and loved ones continue to extend. Please know, your Sush is ABSOLUTELY fine... cause I've never lived on the transient borrowed light of approval and applause. I am the Sun... perfectly Centred in my being & my conscience.'
Her post has received many likes from fans as well as celebrities. Reacting to Sushmita Sen's post, Priyanka Chopra wrote, “Tell em Queen!” along with a fire emoji. Shilpa Shetty wrote, “Love you Sush my star." Dia Mirza also dropped heart emoticons in the comments section.
Earlier in the day, the actor shared a few articles on the subject and expressed her gratitude using the hashtag 'self-made woman.'
Lalit Modi too slammed online trolls with an Instagram post, writing, 'Why is the media so obsessed about trolling me for apparently wrongly tagging. Can someone explain ... I guess we are still living in the Middle Ages where two people can't be friends and then if chemistry is right and time is good, magic can happen ... My advice: live and let others live.'
On the work front, Sushmita Sen was last seen in the second season of 'Aarya'.
