Tabassum’s prayer meet in Mumbai: Moushumi Chatterjee, Farah Khan, Johnny Lever and others attend

The prayer meeting of veteran actor Tabassum Govil was held in Mumbai on Monday, November 21. Moushumi Chatterjee, Farah Khan, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Alka Yagnik were among the many celebrities who arrived to pay tribute to her.

Tabassum, 78, died after suffering from two cardiac arrests on November 18, according to the news agency PTI.

Veteran actor Moushumi Chatterjee was seen arriving at the venue with her daughter. Raza Murad, Johnny Lever, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Aman Verma, and Nitin Mukesh also attended the meeting to extend their condolences to Tabassum’s family.

Tabassum made her debut in the industry as a child artist in 1947. She appeared in several films and TV shows. She was best known for hosting the celebrity talk show ‘Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan’ from 1972 to 1993 on Doordarshan. Tabassum was also the editor of a Hindi magazine.

Tabassum was married to Vijay Govil. They have a son, Hoshang Govil who is also an actor.
