Team India reaches T20 WC Final: Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan and others cheer for Men In Blue

India has stormed into the T20 World Cup final with a 68-run victory over England. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Ajay Devgn, Ayushmann Khurrana, Abhishek Bachchan, and Varun Dhawan, have extended their best wishes to the Men in Blue after their phenomenal win.

Ajay Devgn shared on X: ‘It’s time to show that our Comeback > Setback. Only a step away from creating history! Well played boys! Time to bring home the (cup emoji).’ (sic)

Ayushmann posted: ‘Well played India! Whatta clinical and dominating self assured performance by this bunch, esp Rohit, SKY, Kuldeep, Axar, Bumrah. Well deserved finalists! You got this guys!’ (sic)

Abhishek wrote, ‘Just one more step away from glory! Come on Team India!! All the best for the #T20WorldCup finals!’

Varun Dhawan re-shared a post on the official account of the Indian Cricket Team on his Instagram story.

Vikrant Massey cheered on social media after Team India's win. He posted a picture featuring cricketer Surya Kumar Yadav with the caption, ‘SKY is the limit.’
The second photo has captain Rohit Sharma and the text on the story reads, ‘Boss’. Both captions are followed by fire and red heart emojis.

Producer Jackky Bhagnani also reacted to India's victory in the semi-finals. He posted an Instagram story featuring Rohit Sharma-led Team India's picture. ‘Well played champions. Let's keep cheering them on as they gear up for the finals,’ his Instagram story reads.

India erased the bitter memories of their 2022 T20 World Cup semi-final defeat with a resounding victory over England in the 2024 T20 World Cup semi-final on June 28. They now advance to the final, where South Africa awaits.

Team India excelled on a pitch that favoured spinners, posting an impressive total of 171/7 in 20 overs before bowling out England for 103 in 16.4 overs, securing a commanding 68-run win.
