‘Thank you Maa for shaping me into the woman I am today’, birthday girl Renee Sen to mom Sushmita Sen

Actor Sushmita Sen’s daughter Renee Sen, who celebrated her 23rd birthday on September 4, took to Instagram on Sunday and shared an adorable mother-daughter picture. She penned a sweet note thanking everyone for the ‘avalanche of love and blessings’ on her birthday. In her note, she also expressed gratitude towards her mother for shaping her into the woman she is today.

Renee’s note read, ‘Thank you for all the avalanche of love and blessings on my birthday... It means the world to me... to be loved unconditionally is God's greatest blessing. Thank you Maa (Sushmita) for shaping me into the woman I am today... I love you the mostest! PS: 23 feels AMAZING.” Renee also wrote that “To everyone whom I spent my birthday eve with, thank you... I have the BESTEST extended family…’ 

Her post has received immense love from everyone. Sushmita Sen commented on the post, wishing Renee on her special day. ‘I love you my beautiful 23!!! Happy birthday Shona (darling)!,’ she wrote.

Actor Dia Mirza also extended her best wishes to Renee and wrote, ‘Happy Birthday my baby. Feel so proud watching you become the kind, wonderful and good human you are.’

Sushmita adopted her elder daughter Renee in 2000 and younger daughter Alisah in 2010. Renee made her acting debut in 2021 with a short film, titled ‘Suttabaazi’, opposite ‘Taare Zameen Par’ actor Darsheel Safary. The film was showcased on Bandra Film Festival’s YouTube Channel.

Sushmita Sen made her comeback to acting after five years with Ram Madhvani's ‘Aarya’ She was last seen in the show's second season that released in 2021.
