‘The Archies’ premiere: Ranveer Singh catches up with Ranbir Kapoor after massive success of ‘Animal’

Ranveer Singh caught up with Ranbir Kapoor post 'Animal's success at 'The Archies' premiere.

The Mumbai premiere on Tuesday drew a star-studded crowd, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Neetu Kapoor, and Rekha.

Ranbir posed with Neetu Kapoor on the red carpet and later engaged in a conversation with Ranveer Singh, outside the screening room.

For the event, Ranbir was seen wearing blue formal pants with a grey blazer jacket and a red and blue tie, seemingly a nod to The Archies.

On the other hand, Ranveer had everyone’s attention with his white-and-black combination look. Their photos have now gone viral.

Ranbir and Ranveer both had a successful run at the box office this year.

Ranbir starred in two films, ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ alongside Shraddha Kapoor and ‘Animal’ with Rashmika Mandanna. In his recent release, Ranbir portrays an anti-hero, marking one of his career's significant hits.

The movie had an outstanding opening weekend, raking in Rs 201.76 crore, maintaining its strong performance throughout the weekdays.

Despite a slight decline on Monday to Rs 43.96 crore, 'Animal' sustained its momentum, collecting Rs 38.25 crore on Tuesday. As of Wednesday, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film has amassed an impressive Rs 283.74 crore domestically.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh starred in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani,' also a successful venture. Additionally, he's set to take on the iconic role of 'Don' in Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 3,' marking an exciting future project for the actor.

About ‘The Archies’

‘The Archies’ is based on the American comic book of the same name. It is produced by Tiger Baby Productions. Besides Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and Suhana Khan, it also stars newcomers Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi ‘Dot’ Saigal, and Yuvraj Menda.

The teen comedy film will be released on Netflix on December 7.
