‘The Archies’ premiere: Vir Das shares picture with ‘King’ Shah Rukh Khan; see post

A host of celebrities attended the special screening of ‘The Archies’ that was held in Mumbai on Tuesday night. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was present at the event along with his family to cheer for his daughter Suhana, who makes her Bollywood with the Zoya Akhtar directorial. 

Emmy winner Vir Das was also among the guests at the event. 

Vir took to Instagram, posting a black-and-white picture with Shah Rukh Khan, captioning it ‘Met the King’ with a crown, folded hands, and a red heart emoji.

In the candid picture, SRK is seen hugging Vir.

The comedian made history at the 2023 International Emmy Awards, securing the Best Comedy award for 'Vir Das: Landing.'

About ‘The Archies’

'The Archies', directed by Zoya Akhtar, marks the acting debut of SRK's daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda and producer Boney Kapoor's daughter Khushi Kapoor.

The coming-of-age musical follows the lives of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel and Dilton who will take audiences to the fictional hilly town of Riverdale. The film explores friendship, freedom love, heartbreak, and rebellion.

The film is all set to stream on Netflix on December 7.
