Actor Fawad Khan’s Pakistani film ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’, co-starring Mahira Khan, is likely to be released in Indian theatres soon. The audience seemed divided as soon as these reports surfaced on the internet.
Now, a Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Ameya Khopkar has reacted to the news and said, ‘we will not let this film be released anywhere in India.’

In a series of tweets, he wrote, ‘There are plans to release Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s Pakistani film ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ in India. It is most infuriating that an Indian company is leading this plan. Following Raj Saheb’s orders we will not let this film release anywhere in India.’ He added, ‘Fawad Khan’s fans, traitors may very well go to Pakistan and watch the film.’
‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ is a remake of the classic Pakistani film ‘Maula Jatt’.
Fawad Khan has been part of a handful of Bollywood movies like ‘Khoobsurat’, ‘Kapoor & Sons’, and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
