The makers of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Tiger 3’ are all set to release the first song of the movie, titled ‘Leke Prabhu Ka Naam’, on October 23.

Taking to social media, Salman shared the first look of the upcoming track and mentioned that this is the first time that Arijit Singh has sung for him.

Arijit Singh to sing two songs in ‘Tiger 3’

Aditya Chopra has roped him in to sing two songs in the action thriller. While the first is a dance number featuring Salman and Katrina Kaif, the second is a romantic track much like the chartbuster, ‘Dil Diya Gallan’ from Tiger Zinda Hai.

Talking about the development, director Maneesh Sharma said, ‘We can’t wait for Leke Prabhu Ka Naam to drop next week. It’s an out-and-out party track and having Arijit’s voice on top of Salman’s swag is the cherry on top. Katrina’s ethereal beauty and the chemistry between the two make it the perfect formula to have everyone dancing. We had a lot of fun filming in Cappadocia, Turkey, and this will be another huge dance chartbuster to add to the already enviable list of successes that Salman and Katrina have had together.’

Opening up about Arijit on board to sing the songs for Salman, Pritam shared, ‘It was a collaboration that was waiting to happen. Salman Khan is one of the biggest superstars and Arijit Singh, is our generation’s top singing sensation. These two stalwarts coming together for a song was long overdue and we are thrilled that it is happening for Tiger 3.’

Salman-Arijit feud

The actor and the singer have finally patched up after 9 years. For the unversed, things between Salman Khan and Arijit Singh turned sour during an award function in 2014. When Arijit stepped on the stage to receive the award, dressed casually and in a chappal, looking tired. Salman, who was hosting the show, mockingly asked, ‘So gaye the (Were you sleeping)?’ To this, the singer said, ‘Aap logon ne sula diya (You all put me to sleep)’.

Salman then said that it’s not their fault if songs like ‘Tum hi ho’ keep playing, people would fall asleep.

Following this incident, Arijit’s songs were reportedly removed from Salman Khan’s films including ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Kick’ and ‘Sultan’.

Two years later, Arijit issued a public apology to the star, requesting him to retain his version of the song in ‘Sultan’. He also mentioned how he tried to apologise multiple times to him but to no avail.
