Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Tiger 3’ is all set to hit the theatres on Diwali and the film is already making headlines as 1,42,030 tickets in total across all platforms and languages have been sold in advance bookings within the first 24 hours.
Katrina was seen pulling off some exhilarating action moves in the film’s trailer which was released a while ago, among which the towel fight scene with ‘Venom’ actor Michelle Lee garnered much attention.
Now, Katrina Kaif has shared her experience of filming for ‘Tiger 3’.
She wrote, ‘For me, when tiger time comes, it's about pushing my limits, testing my endurance, and finding that strength within. Someone once told me, "Pain is just another sensation “ ….Don't be afraid of it ,don't run from the pain. Many days,I was so tired; it felt different this time…tougher. My body was sore, but I would tell myself to take it as a challenge and see how much I could face today.’
She continued, ‘During training, we created an alter ego. So even if I was tired, SHE wasn’t tired; she was going to war!….your mind will stop you much before your body does. Once you decide, commit and do it… no matter what! And the work is ALWAYS worth it. I think we were able to deliver even more dynamic action than before, and that's always our intention……To be better…….’
She concluded, ‘Now waiting to share #Tiger3 with the world ….. nervous, excited …Just a few more days to go.’
In a recent interview with Mid-Day, Katrina Kaif talked about the towel fight scene and shared that she and Michelle Lee underwent weeks of training under the guidance of action director Oh Sea Young before filming the sequence in Turkey in September 2021.
‘It was a difficult sequence to shoot because it has hand-to-hand fighting inside a steamy hammam. [Due to the steam], gripping, fending, and landing the punches and kicks was a challenge. I don’t think there has been a fight sequence like this featuring two women on screen in India,’ Katrina said.
‘Tiger 3’ boasts a stellar cast including Emraan Hashmi, Revathi, Riddhi Dogra, and Vishal Jethwa. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan will reportedly be making guest appearances in the film, reprising their respective roles as Pathaan and Major Kabir Dhaliwal from the previous YRF Spy Universe films.
