‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, is now in theatres. Directed by Luv Ranjan, the romantic comedy marked Shraddha Kapoor’s comeback after three years. The film has majorly received a positive response but has also failed to impress a few.

Take a look at what netizens have to say.

Calling it a beautiful film, a user tweeted, ‘Finished #TuJhoothiMainMakkaar . Beautiful film. Light 1st half & a totally different emotional, funny 2nd half. Loved it. My husband said that it's obviously better than all the RK films he has seen recently including Brahmastra,’

Appreciating the performance of Shraddha and Ranbir, one user commented, ‘Jhoothi aur Makkaarr These two literally stole the show!!
#RanbirKapoor #TuJhoothiMainMakkaar.’

A user called the film, visually appealing and wrote, ‘I still can't articulate my thoughts after watching #TuJhoothiMainMakkaar . What a beautiful film! I was nearly moved to tears by this film in ways that I didn't expect to be. the theatrical experience of the songs is visually appealing.’

Few of the netizens seem to be disappointed and called it just average. A user tweeted, ‘TuJhoothiMainMakkaar It's an okayish movie... Nothing extraordinary... Ranbir n Shraddha look good together... Music is fine...’

Another called its first half boring and wrote, ‘#TuJhoothiMainMakkaar is a mixed bag. Good Songs, Climax, Performances & Comedy in the second half saved the day for an otherwise boring first half. All the filler scenes in the first half are tedious.’
