The nepotism debate has been going on in Bollywood for a long time. It has always been said and believed that the star kids get movies easily or are the ultimate opportunist.

Actor Tusshar Kapoor disagrees with this notion created around about the star kids. Tusshar, who is the son of veteran actor Jeetendra, talked about what being a star kid means to him.

In a conversation with actor Divya Dutta on the second day of the Khushwant Singh Literary Festival in Kasauli, the actor said 'A red carpet is not laid out for every star kid. While shooting for my debut film, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, I had to wait for my co-star and another star kid Kareena Kapoor Khan for 12-14 hours as she was simultaneously working on four films. Her first film was yet to release but such was the demand for her that she had already signed all these films'

Tusshar, who is a single parent, welcomed his son through surrogacy in June 2016. He also talked about being a single father and about his book 'The Bachelor Dad: My Journey To Fatherhood And More' at the event. He said that everybody would ask him, How do you manage as a single parent? So, he decided to publish a book on the subject.

On the work front, Tusshar last made a cameo in 'Simmba',  directed by Rohit Shetty.  As per reports, he'll next feature in 'Golmaal 5'.
