Twinkle Khanna, an actor-turned-author, shared a brief video of herself posing with several flower bouquets. On Mother's Day, which was on March 19 in the UK, Twinkle revealed on Instagram Reels that her son Aarav had sent her flowers. In the video, Twinkle was seen smiling as she stood in front of a mirror and showed her fans around her house.

Twinkle took pictures of the flowers in vases in front of the mirror with her phone. Twinkle wore a brown T-shirt and black pants in the video. Twinkle continued to post pictures of numerous vases filled with various flower varieties as the video went on. She made Flowers by Miley Cyrus the background music.

Twinkle posted the video and said, 'Yesterday was all about flowers from my older one. Though I do believe that flowers on Mother's Day should come with a note that says, 'Thank you for making it through my teenage years and I apologise for the white hair, frown lines and frayed neurons I have left behind'. What letter would you include with your flowers to send to your mother?'

On January 17, 2001, Twinkle and actor Akshay Kumar exchanged vows. They have a daughter named Nitara who was born in 2012 and a son named Aarav. With Barsaat, Twinkle made her acting debut in 1995. After appearing in several movies, she gave acting a rest in 2001. Her film was seen by viewers of Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega.

She published Mrs. Funnybones, her debut book, in 2015. She published The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad, her second book, in 2017. The following year saw the release of the fiction book Pyjamas Are Forgiving.

Twinkle discussed parenting earlier this year in an interview with Harper's Bazaar India. 'I did pen a column on how to properly raise our sons and not just concentrate on raising our daughters. I believe that becoming a parent should require some prior training, much like getting your driver's license requires training and a test. At this point, all of us are just winging it and hoping for the best', she had said.
