The release date for Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor's forthcoming film 'Bawaal' has been pushed to a later date. The makers, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, have taken this decision due to film’s VFX and technical requirements.

According to Times of India, sources have revealed that 'Bawaal' has been shot using a special technology in Poland and is ambitious in its onscreen presentation.

The film has been directed by Nitesh Tiwari, who has helmed superhits ‘Dangal’ and ‘Chhichhore’.

‘The visual finesse we want to achieve on these sequences will need more time than we expected. We don’t want to cut short at anything because our purpose is to bring nothing but the best version of our vision to our viewers,’ Times of India quoted Nitesh Tiwari as saying.

‘Bawaal’ was scheduled to release in theatres on April 7 this year, but now it is expected to release later on in the year.

An official announcement is expected from producer Sajid Nadiadwala soon.

Besides being shot in India, ‘Bawaal’ was also shot at international locations like Paris, Berlin, Poland, Amsterdam and Krakow.
