Varun Dhawan says he will watch FIFA World Cup final in Qatar

The FIFA World Cup fever has gripped the nation and top celebrities are rooting for their favourite teams. Actor Varun Dhawan, who is currently busy promoting of his upcoming film ‘Bhediya’, claimed that he is an ardent football fan but has not gotten a chance to watch the ongoing event. He mentioned that he will be going for the final in Qatar.

‘Abhi dekhna ka mauka nahi mil raha, but I am supposed to go for the world cup final. I will be going for the final in Qatar,’ Indian Express quoted the actor as saying.

Indian Express reported that Varun was asked to choose between Argentina and Brazil, to which he replied that he doesn’t mind either team winning the World Cup, but he hopes Brazil gets in over Argentina.

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s horror-comedy ‘Bhediya’ is said to be a spin-off of director Amar Kaushik’s ‘Stree’, which starred Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor.
The film releases in cinemas on November 25.
