Vicky Kaushal pays surprise visit to late night show of Bad Newz, thanks fans for all 'love pouring in'

Vicky Kaushal recently surprised fans who went to watch his latest film 'Bad Newz' in theatres in Mumbai. On Saturday (July 20), the actor visited a Mumbai theatre, leaving the movigoers in disbelief. The actor has now shared a wholesome video from the exciting fan interaction on Instagram. Directed by Anant Tiwari, 'Bad Newz', also starring Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk, released in theatres on July 19.

Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk's film 'Bad Newz' has garnered mixed reviews from criticis, but he romantic comedy has managed to pull people from the comfort of OTT to theatres, which has been evident in its box office collection. To express his sincere gratitude towards fan, Vicky recently visited a Mumbai theatre. He shared a video where he is thanking fans for braving the heavy rain in the city to watch his film.

Vicky shared the video on his Instagram handle and wrote, "The city’s been put on alert due to rains and you guys still turn up and make it a HOUSEFULL show! Thank you for making this weekend a joyous one for the team of #BadNewz we hope we have succeeded in doing the same for you. Only gratitude for all the love pouring in. Pyaar aapka sach mein #TaubaTauba hai. Love you all (sic)."

In the clip, Kaushal can also be seen vibing with the audience by singing the hit song 'Tauba Tauba' from the film with them. Some lucky fans also got a chance to click pictures with the actor. 

'Bad Newz' box office collection

'Bad Newz' continued its good run at the box office after its opening. After a promising opening at Rs 8.5 crore, the film earned around 10 crore India net on its second day, reported Sacnilk. With the current numbers, the overall collection of the film stands at ₹ 18.3 crores. In addition to the film's impressive cast, there are also cameos by actors Ananya Panday and Neha Sharma.
