Vijay Deverakonda’s 'Jana Gana Mana' shelved after failure of 'Liger'? Charmme Kaur clears the air

After the failure of ‘Liger’, there have been reports that Vijay Deverakonda’s next film with director Puri Jagannadh, titled ‘Jana Gana Mana’, has been shelved. Now, Charmme Kaur, co-producer of ‘Liger’, took a break from social media detox and reacted to the rumours. Taking to Twitter, she wrote, ‘Rumours rumours rumours! All rumours are fake! Just focusing on the progress of. Meanwhile, RIP rumours.’

On September 5, Charmme Kaur announced that she is taking a short break from social media. Sharing her decision, she wrote on Twitter, ‘Chill guys! Just taking a break ( from social media ) @PuriConnects will bounce back Bigger and Better... until then, Live and let Live.’

‘Liger’, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, released in theatres on August 25, 2022. It ended up being a disaster at the box office.

Talking about the film ‘Jana Gana Mana’, Vijay Deverakonda will be seen in the role of an army officer in the movie. It also stars Pooja Hegde in a pivotal role. 

The action entertainer will be produced by Charmme Kaur, Vamshi Paidipally, and Puri Jagannadh. The pan-India film will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
