Anushka Sharma is currently shooting for ‘Chakda ‘Xpress’ and her husband-cricketer Virat Kohli is all praise for the hard work she is putting into the forthcoming movie. In the latest episode of Hotstar’s ‘FTB On The Road’, Virat said that his respect for Anushka has increased after he watched her train for the movie.
He said, ‘For me, a movie was just about watching it for three hours. Then I saw Anushka train for the film and I was like respect boss. She is finding the process challenging. This is the first time she is doing such a thing and that too by learning bowling.’
Anushka Sharma is portraying the role of Indian woman cricketer, Jhulan Goswami, in the film. The actor is currently in United Kingdom for the shoot and she keeps on sharing tit bits of her shooting journey on social media. She recently shared the difficulty she faced in wearing ‘compression tights.’ In her Instagram story, she wrote, ‘When you got- to wake up and wear compression tights (or even sleep with) cuz sports drama film.’
‘Chakda Xpress’ is directed by Prosit Roy and backed by Karnesh Ssharma's Clean Slate Filmz. The film will release on Netflix. The actor is making a comeback after Vamika’s birth. She was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
