Following the enormous success of Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal,' fans are eagerly anticipating the actor's next venture. A recent viral video has hinted at a potential project featuring Ranbir alongside his 'Wake Up Sid' co-star Konkona Sen Sharma.

Shortly after the video gained traction on social media, filmmaker Karan Johar, who had produced 'Wake Up Sid,' shared a clip from the same shoot, and wrote, ‘Is this really happening? All I know is something exciting is brewing, and I couldn't have received better news to wake up to," along with hashtags like "#SidWakesUp #SiddyBoy #WUSgang #WhatsBrewing #ranbirkapoor #ad.’

In the video, Konkona Sen Sharma wakes up a sleeping Ranbir Kapoor while saying, ‘Sid, wake up. It is Rishi's day.’

In reaction to KJo's post, encapsulating the sentiments of all the Wake Up Sid fans, one user wrote, ‘Don't tease us like this.’

The video, which first went viral on a Reddit page dedicated to Bollywood, features a montage of clips and pictures where both Ranbir and Konkona can be seen dressed in blue and white outfits.

About ‘Wake Up Sid’

‘Wake Up Sid’, directed by Ayan Mukerji, was a critical and box office success. The on-screen pairing of Ranbir and Konkona as Siddharth Mehra and Aisha Banerjee hit the right notes with audiences.

When the BTS video was initially shared on Reddit with the caption, ‘Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona shot for something recently,’ fans could barely contain their excitement and demanded a ‘Wake Up Sid’ sequel.

Konkona and Ranbir’s upcoming projects

On the work front, Konkona Sen Sharma will be next seen in the Netflix project ‘Killer Soup’, and Ranbir Kapoor will be starring in ‘Ramayana’ alongside Yash and Sai Pallavi and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal Park’.
