In good news for the fans of Saif Ali Khan, the actor has been discharged from the hospital. He underwent a surgery at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital after an old injury got triggered during the shooting of his upcoming film. The actor was captured exiting the hospital by paparazzi.
In a statement post-surgery on Monday, the 53-year-old actor said, “This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands.” The actor then went on to thank his well-wishers for their love and concern.
Saif Ali Khan had injured his thumb during the shoot of his film ‘Rangoon’ in 2017. He had also suffered serious injuries during the stunt scene of ‘Kya Kehna’ for which he had to be hospitalised for many days.
Saif Ali Khan is currently busy with the shooting of his film ‘Devara’, where he will be seen in a negative role once again. He will share the screen with Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in this action-packed film.
The ‘Adipurush’ actor was last seen in the popular chatshow ‘Koffee with Karan’ with his mother Sharmila Tagore, where he shed light on some unseen and unknown aspects of his personal and professional life.
