It’s 2024, the official year of the most unexpected crossovers. Rapper Badshah and Bollywood singer Arijit Singh shared stage during a concert in Bangkok. The duo sang ‘Soulmate’ from Badshah’s album ‘Ek Tha Raja’, but what made the moment more special was Badshah’s modest gesture towards Arijit Singh.

Despite being older than Arijit Singh, Badshah bowed down and touched the feet of the singer to seek his blessings. This heart-felt gesture of the rapper towards his contemporary singer won the hearts of the audience and also the Internet. The video that captured this beautiful moment has gone viral on social media. In the video, Badhshah walks up to Arijit and greeted the singer before touching his feet and hugging him.  

Fans were impressed with Badshah’s gesture, showing his respect for Arijit Singh. The video received a warm response from the fans who praised Badshah and said that their respect for Badshah has grown.

Earlier speaking to Variety about his collaboration with Arijit Singh, Badshah said, “I was really excited about working with Arijit Singh because he’s someone I’ve looked up to. And, more than that, I was just happy to be in his company and learn a lot of things from him. Because, he for me is like a higher power.”  

Badshah’s work front 

Badshah’s ‘Ek Tha Raja’ was released last month. Besides collaborating with Arijit Singh, the rapper has also collaborated with many other artists including Divine and MC Stan. The rapper will soon head to Canada and US for his ‘The Paagal Tour 2024’.
