The trailer of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film 'Bachchhan Paandey' has definitely taken everyone by storm. People just cannot seem to be getting over Akshay Kumar’s character, esp. his ‘stone-eyed’ look. The craze of Akshay’s character can be gauged from the fact that a ‘reel-life’ Bachchan Pandey came all the way from Latur to meet real-life Bachchhan Paandey in Mumbai.

What happened was that, when the cast of the film Bachchhan Paandey went on a very famous Marathi show 'Chala Hawa Yeu Dya' as a part of the film’s promotion, they met the real-life Bachchan Pandey. A man named Dhananjay had traveled all the way from Latur to meet the reel life Bachchan Pandey (Akshay Kumar). Dhananjay is said to be a real-life Bachchan Pandey because, just like the reel life Bachchhan Paandey in the film, he too has a blue colour stone eye! If that wasn’t enough, Dhananjay also happens to be an extremely die-hard fan of Akshay Kumar in real life.

Bachchhan Paandey has been directed by Farhad Samji. Besides Akshay Kumar, the film also stars Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra, Abhimanyu Singh, and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Bachchhan Paandey is being bankrolled by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is all set to release in cinemas on 18th March 2022.
