Ed Sheeran performed at his second concert in India on March 16. The ‘Shape of You’ singer met several Bollywood celebrities during his India visit and attended multiple parties including the one hosted by Kapil Sharma. Beyond the parties, the singer also shot a fun-filled episode with the comedian which is all set to premiere on Netflix.

The upcoming episode of Kapil Sharma’s ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ will feature Ed Sheeran as guest. The promo featuring the international singer is out and it’s all things hilarious.  

Kapil Sharma introduces the singer as younger to him and tells him that he is younger to him in English. The global pop icon goes desi and sings his hit tracks on Punjabi beats. When Kapil asks him about meeting Shah Rukh Khan at Mannat, Ed Sheeran recites SRK’s popular dialogue from DDLJ, ‘Bade Bade Shehron Mein Choti Choti Baatein Hoti Rehti Hain’ and also tries his hands on SRK’s iconic pose. Ed Sheeran entertains audience as he sings in Punjabi. In a fun banter, Sunil Grover hires Ed for a show in Rajasthan and when Kapil says that Ed has flown down to Mumbai specially to meet him, the singer speaks in fluent hindi and says that he has a show in Mumbai.  

Kapil had first teased Ed’s appearance on his show in March when he shared a picture with the singer. In the caption he wrote, “We always love your songs @edsheeran but after meeting you we love you more. you are a sweetheart Can’t wait to show the World the humorous side of yours lots of love n best wishes always my friend .

‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is streaming on Netflix. The show started with Ranbir Kapoor and family as guests and has featured several stars including Kaushal and Deol brothers. ’Heeramandi’ cast graced the show in the previous episode. The next episode will stream on the platform on Saturday.
