'Friends' cast attend Matthew Perry's funeral in Los Angeles

Matthew Perry’s death shook the world. His funeral took place on November 3 and was attended by ‘Friends’ Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer. 

The Today Show shared a video, where the cast of Friends was seen making their way to the funeral service. The funeral took place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles according to People’s report. Apart from the Friends cast, Matthew’s mother Suzanne Morrison, his father, John Bennett Perry, and his stepfather, Keith Morrison were also spotted in the video released. According to TMZ, it was more of an intimate affair attended by not more than 20 people.

Earlier, ‘Friends’ cast released a joint statement saying they needed time to process the grief. Their statement read: “We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family,” “There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.” 

The actor’s family also shared a statement saying, that his well-wishers and fans meant so much to him. “Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love.”

Matthew, who was known for his role of Chandeler in the famous sitcom ‘Friends’ was found dead in his hot tub on October 28.
