Megastar Ram Charan turned a year older on March 27 and on the special occasion, the makers of his forthcoming film ‘Game Changer’ released the first song, titled ‘Jaragandi’.
The upbeat dance track has been sung by Daler Mehndi and Sahithi Chaganti with lyrics by Kumaar. The music for the film has been composed by Thaman S.
In the song's video, a rural setting with vibrant houses is showcased. Kiara Advani and Ram Charan dance in traditional attire throughout the song. They dance in a muddy field, accompanied by a host of people.
Reacting to the video, a fan said, ‘Eye feast, Sankar sir...thank you so much.’ Another comment read, ‘Ramcharan dance, Kiara looks, Shankar sir vision, Thaman drums. Definitely, it's a Game changer in Tollywood.’ A person wrote, ‘Those outfits, that dance moves. The song is literally slow poison, and my babe cherry Kiara omg their chemistry. The best pair.’ A social media user commented, ‘Colorful, vibrant...foot tapping.’
Recent reports suggest that ‘Game Changer’ offers an intriguing plot, with Ram Charan playing Ram Nandan, an IAS officer, facing off against three formidable antagonists portrayed by Srikanth, SJ Surya, and Naveen Chandra. Additionally, Ram Charan takes on a dual role, depicting both the younger Ram Nandan and his father, Appanna, a nobleman aiming to establish a political party for community service.
Reportedly, the delay in the film's release can be attributed to director S. Shankar's dedication to another project, Kamal Haasan's Indian 2, a political thriller scheduled for release on April 14, coinciding with Tamil New Year.
In addition to the birthday celebrations, Ram Charan's blockbuster movie ‘Magadheera’ was re-released in theaters. Directed by SS Rajamouli, this action-packed thriller first premiered in 2009, catapulting Ram Charan to stardom. Now, 15 years later, ‘Magadheera’ returns to the big screen. Alongside the re-release of ‘Magadheera’, theaters also showcased the ‘Game Changer’ song ‘Jaragandi,’ giving audiences a glimpse of the highly anticipated film.
