Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu attended the 41st India Day Parade in New York on August 20. Pictures and videos of the actor from the event have been going viral on social media.
Now, another video of Samantha is being widely shared online which shows her walking up to the stage to address the crowd while her popular song ‘Oo Antava’ is played in the background by the organizers.
She began her address by revealing to the crowd that it had been a while since she had heard the ‘Pushpa’ song.
Samantha along with Jacqueline Fernandez participated at India Day Parade in New York City on August 20. Samantha addressed the crowd there. She started her speech by saying 'Jai Hind' and went on to speak about the rich culture of India.
She also thanked the audience in the US for supporting her films since the start of her career and requested them to watch 'Kushi' on September 1.
Several members of the Indian diaspora supported the event, including spiritual Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
This year’s tagline was 'Mission Life', the same name as a mass movement launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen in ‘Kushi’ with Vijay Deverakonda. The film will release in theatres on September 1.
