Actor Jeremy Renner is back to work a year after life-threatening accident; details of his upcoming show

Fans of actor Jeremy Renner are in for a treat. The Hollywood actor known for playing ‘Hawkeye’ in the Marvel universe is finally returning to the screen. The ‘Avengers’ actor had to take a break from the screen as he underwent an emergency surgery after 30 of his bones were broken in a snow plow accident in January. 


Jeremy has reportedly resumed the work a year after the horrific accident where he almost lost his life. Renner informed his fans about his comeback as he shared the exciting news with the caption, “It’s happening”. He shared Emma Laird’s post which she had captioned, ‘Back with my favourite guy next week’. Renner is playing the character of Mayor- Mike McLusky in the show ‘Mayor of Kingstown’. The show will mark Renner’s comeback after the accident. The news comes just ahead of the accident’s anniversary. 


Renner has been sharing constant updates on his health in his social media. His fans have been praying for his recovery as they witnessed his health progress. Recounting the ordeal, Renner told Variety in an interview that he was trying to tow a Ford Raptor out of the snow using a snow plow with his nephew when he lost his balance and was run over by the vehicle.  


Earlier in April, bodycam footage of Renner’s accident was released by the U.S police that showed the aftermath of snow plow accident.
