Hollywood star Alec Baldwin lost his cool when an anti-Israel protestor insisted, he say ‘free Palestine’ on camera at a New York coffee shop.
In a video shared online, the protestor surprised Alec by filming him and making the demand. Alec declined to engage, but the protestor continued by mentioning the ‘Rust’ shooting incident. She accused him of sending an ‘innocent’ crew member to jail while avoiding jail time himself in the case.
‘Alec, can you please say ‘free Palestine’ one time. Why did you kill that lady? You killed that lady and got no jail time? No jail time Alec? You are putting innocent people in jail, Alec Baldwin. Free Palestine, Alec, just one time, and I will leave you. I will leave you alone, I swear,’ the woman instigated Alec while he ignored her.
Alec eventually told her to leave the coffee shop, standing with the door open. He asked the barista to call the police, but the woman persisted in harassing him. Despite her refusal to leave him alone, Alec hit her camera. The woman posted the video on X, claiming, ‘White devil Alec Baldwin attacked me while I was trying to get coffee.’
Social media users criticized the woman for harassing Alec Baldwin.
‘I don't even like him, but I would've helped HIM, not you,’ wrote one user. Another added, ‘I don't care much for Alec Baldwin, but in this case, he's my hero.’ A third user commented, ‘I don't even like the guy, but I totally support his actions here.’
For those unaware, Alec Baldwin faced scrutiny after a firearm in his possession accidentally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film ‘Rust’ in 2021. Earlier this month, it was reported that Hannah Gutierrez, the chief weapons handler for the movie, was sentenced to 18 months in prison in connection with the incident.
