Anne Hathaway to team up with Priyanka Chopra for a spy film? 'The Intern' star loves the idea of it

Priyanka Chopra and Anne Hathaway are two of the most powerful women in showbiz. Known for their exceptional acting prowess and enchanting screen presence, the duo has shared the stage on numerous occasions as they both are global ambassadors to Bvlgari. Now, in a recent interview 'The Devil Wears Prada' actors spilt the beans on the possibility of working with PeeCee. 

Anne Hathaway on working with Priyanka

Anne Hathaway, who is currently awaiting the release of her film 'The Idea of You', in an interview with News18 said that the actual conversation has not happened as of now but she is open to the idea. She said, “We discussed a few things that night, that one hasn’t come up yet but what are we going to do, this is a great idea, how do we make this happen?”  When the interviewer recommended that they could star in a fun spy film, Anne loved the idea.  She further added, "I would love that clearly and now my brain is on fire. I’ll let you know when Priyanka and I have connected."

Priyanka Chopra on the film front

On the film front, Priyanka is shooting for 'Heads of State'. The action comedy also stars Idris Elba, John Cena, and Jack Quaid, among others, in important roles. The actor also announced 'The Bluff' last month. She also has 'Jee Le Zaraa' in the pipeline.

About 'The Idea of You'

Starring Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galetzine, the film has been directed by Michael Showalter. As per the official synopsis of the film, a 40-year-old single mum begins an unexpected romance with a 24-year-old boy band singer. The film premiered at South by Southwest on March 16, 2024, and is scheduled to be released by Amazon MGM Studios via Prime Video on May 2, 2024.
