Arleen Sorkin, the actor who voiced Harley Quinn in 'Batman: The Animated Series', died at the age of 67.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the news via an anonymous source. The cause of death hasn't been revealed.
The character was introduced in the animated series before appearing in DC Comics in 1993.
James Gunn, co-CEO of DC Studios, paid tribute to Sorkin on Instagram. He wrote, 'Rest in Peace, Arleen Sorkin, the incredibly talented original voice of Harley Quinn, who helped to create the character so many of us love. Love to her family and friends'.
Mark Hamill, who played the Joker in the animated series, also expressed his sadness on X. He wrote, 'Devastated to learn we’ve lost the brilliant Arleen Sorkin. Not just a wonderful talent, but a truly wonderful person.'
