The highly-anticipated EE BAFTA Film Awards are all set to place at London’s Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall at 7PM GMT on February 19. Hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the awards honour the best British and international films every year. The prestigious award show will be streamed exclusively on Lionsgate Play in India on February 20 from 12.30 AM IST onwards.
The star-studded night will also simultaneously stream exclusively in the Philippines and Indonesia on Lionsgate Play.
Richard E. Grant, award-winning actor, presenter and author, is all set to host the 2023 EE BAFTA Film Awards ceremony. Presenters Ali Plumb and Vick Hope will be the ones hosting from the red carpet.
This year’s nominations include 215 talented and creative names from the film industry who represent 45 extraordinary films, spanning a vast range of narrative styles, genres and perspectives.
The nominations for the 2023 BAFTA Film Awards were announced on January 19 that saw anti-war drama ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’ earning 14 nods. Only one Indian film made the cut- Shaunak Sen's ‘All That Breathes’ being nominated for Best Documentary.
