'Berlin', the Money Heist spinoff, will return to Netflix for a second season. The iconic character, played by Pedro Alonso, will be back with a new heist and more love, the streaming giant announced. The shooting for the second part will begin in 2025.
The prequel, which was created in response to the enormous worldwide popularity of Netflix Spain's 'La Casa de Papel' (Money Heist), will see Berlin, played by Pedro Alonso, and his entire crew return for part two.
The debut season of 'Berlin' was a great success for Netflix, ranking among streamers' top 10 shows. With the first season securing the ninth spot within three months of its release, the prequel series kept 'Money Heist' fans hooked.
The cast of 'Berlin' includes Pedro Alonso in the pivotal role of Andrés de Fonollosa, also known as Berlin. Samantha Siqueiros portrays Camille, while Tristán Ulloa stars as Damián. Michelle Jenner features as Keila, and Begoña Vargas brings Cameron to life. The entire cast is expected to return for the second season.
