‘Big Bang Theory’ actors Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik to reunite in ‘Young Sheldon’ finale

Fans of ‘Big Bang Theory’ are on the ninth cloud as the OG of the superhit show are reuniting after five years. Jim Parson and Mayim Bialik are all set to reprise their roles as Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler in the ‘Young Sheldon’ finale.

While the makers have kept most of the things under wrap, we know for sure that the two stars of the show will appear as guest stars in the finale of ‘Young Sheldon’, making it the biggest crossover. Mayim herself has confirmed this as she shared the news on her Instagram story. This will also be the first time that the two actors will reunite on screen after their show wrapped up in 2019. The finale episode featuring Jim Parson and Mayim Bialik will air on May 16.  

The episode will be an emotional moment for the fans of the series as they will get to witness their favourite sitcom characters back together on screen and at the same time bid farewell to the ‘Young Sheldon’.

Jim’s appearance in the show will not be his first association with ‘Young Sheldon’. The audience have heard him as the show’s narrator. He is also one of the executive producers for the show. In fact, Mayim has also voiced two episodes.  

About ‘Big Bang Theory’ and ‘Young Sheldon’ 

The fan favourite ‘Big Bang Theory’ premiered in 2007 and ran successfully for 12 seasons. It is officially television’s longest running sit-com. The show wrapped up its run in the 2019. Meanwhile, ‘Young Sheldon’ was launched in 2017 and has 7 seasons. It follows the childhood of Sheldon Cooper, the star of ‘Big Bang Theory’. The makers behind the two shows are same.
