Beyonce released her first single 'Break My Soul' from her upcoming seventh solo studio album 'Renaissance' on Monday night, three hours prior to the announced release time. The Grammy-winning singer updated her bios on social media pages, which now read: '6. BREAK MY SOUL midnight ET.'
The dance track has been co-produced by the 'Single Ladies' team of Tricky Stewart and The-Dream. The writing credits include Jay-Z, Adam Pigott, Freddie Ross. Last week, Beyonce had announced the release of her first solo album in six years. 'Renaissance' is all set to be released on July 29.

Beyonce's last studio album, 'Lemonade,' was released in 2016. Following that the singer collaborated with other artists including rapper Megan Thee Stallion for her remix of 'Savage.'
Beyonce produced and curated the soundtrack album for 'The Lion King: The Gift' in 2019. The album featured the song 'Black Parade,' which won the Grammy for best R&B performance in 2021, becoming her 28th Grammy win.
