Cardi B has welcomed her third child, a baby girl, with her estranged husband, Offset.
The rapper shared the news on Instagram, posting a series of photos and videos from the special moment.
Her sister Hennessy and Offset were present, along with their two other children, Kulture, and Wave.
Cardi, 31, captioned the post, ‘the prettiest lil thing,’ with pink flower and heart emojis, revealing that the baby was born on September 7, 2024.
Fans flooded the comments with excitement, with one writing, ‘Congratulations!! You rocked that pregnancy!’ Another added, ‘Omgggg that was fast lol. Congrats sis! Love you always.’ Yung Miami, one half of the City Girls, also sent her love, commenting with heart emojis.
Cardi announced her pregnancy in August while simultaneously filing for divorce from Offset.
In her original post, she wrote, ‘With every ending comes a new beginning!’ and thanked her unborn child for renewing her strength and bringing her more love.
She wrote, ‘I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!’
She added, ‘It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!’
Cardi cited their marriage as ‘irretrievably broken’ in the divorce filing, though Offset's presence at the birth has reignited speculation about their relationship.
Despite their split, the former couple — who married in 2017 — appears to be on good terms. A rep confirmed to Billboard in August that the separation ‘was not due to any one specific incident... it has been a long time coming and is amicable.’ Earlier this month, Cardi and Offset reunited to celebrate their son Wave’s third birthday, coming together to throw him a proper party.Top of FormBottom of Form
