Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum are calling it quits after three years of dating. Multiple sources have confirmed to PEOPLE that the actress, known for her role in The Batman, and the Magic Mike star have ended their engagement.

The couple initially sparked romance rumours while working together on Kravitz's feature directorial debut, Blink Twice, where Tatum starred.

They got engaged just a year ago.

Representatives for both stars have yet to respond to requests for comment from PEOPLE regarding the split.

Recently, Tatum, 44, joined Kravitz, 35, to see a production by Blink Twice co-star Levon Hawke in New York City's Red Hook neighbourhood on October 6. However, Kravitz has been spotted out without her engagement ring in recent weeks, including during outings with her Big Little Lies co-star Shailene Woodley.

Reflecting on their creative partnership, Kravitz previously told PEOPLE, ‘Art is our love language.’ She expressed enthusiasm for future collaborations with Tatum, emphasizing their shared passion for creative endeavours.

Tatum echoed her sentiments, advising others considering marriage or starting a family to engage in challenging creative projects together. He remarked, ‘When you can look across the room or the set and know that you have the best person next to you trying to solve problems, that is unbelievable.’

On October 29, news broke that both Kravitz and Tatum are among the cast of the upcoming alien invasion comedy Alpha Gang, starring and produced by Cate Blanchett. This latest project has kept them in the spotlight even amid their personal changes.

The couple first fuelled romance speculation in August 2021 when they were photographed riding a BMX bike in New York City. Shortly after, they were seen leaving the Met Gala together, with Tatum making their relationship Instagram official on Halloween, sharing a couple's costume inspired by Martin Scorsese's classic film Taxi Driver.
