Chappell Roan is a rising pop-star but no exception to the challenges that come with popularity. The singer opened up about the problematic creepy behaviour and harassment by calling out ‘entitled fans’ and stalkers.
The 26-year-old young star posted two clips on TikTok, talking about the harassment that she has been receiving recently. Roan said that she and her family are being stalked, harassed and shouted at in public for refusing hugs or photos.
She asked whether it is okay to harass a woman in public and harass or bully her if she declines to give a photo. She said that she doesn’t care if it’s selfish to decline photos or hugs.
Roan is one of the artists lined up to perform at MTV VMAs 2024. The pop star and drag queen shot to fame after her debut album ‘The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess’, which stands at No. 3 on Billboard 200, right behind Taylor Swift’s TTPD and Kanye West’s ‘Vultures 2’.
