After Adele, singer Charlie Puth gave a musical tribute to Matthew Perry during his Melbourne concert on October 29.
The 'Attention' singer, who is a longtime fan of the sitcom, played a sentimental piano version of the 'Friends' theme song 'I'll be there for you' at the event.
Before singing the heartwarming rendition, he said, ‘I want to dedicate another song, and if it makes you think of a person, that's who it's dedicated to. Does this mean anything to you?’
Earlier, British singer Adele also gave a beautiful tribute to Matthew. She paused her Las Vegas concert midway to pay homage to the late actor.
The audience at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace erupted in cheers at this gesture.
How did Matthew Perry die?
Matthew Perry was found dead at his Los Angeles home in a hot tub. He died of an apparent drowning. As of now, the cast of 'Friends', including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow are yet to react. They are likely to share a joint statement soon.

Matthew Perry had been open about his struggle with addiction. In October 2022, he revealed that he almost died at 49 due to his increasing drug addiction, and was in a coma for two weeks, fighting for his life.
