The Oscars slap gate still continues to make headlines. Now as per reports in Page Six, Chris Rock took a dig at Will Smith's apology video.
During his stage performance, he said, ‘Everybody is trying to be a victim. If everybody claims to be a victim, then nobody will hear the real victims. Even me getting smacked by Suge Smith … I went to work the next day, I got kids.’
‘Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face.’ he added
On Friday, Will Smith took to his YouTube channel and posted a video apologising to Chris Rock. In the video, he also mentioned the reason for the late apology.
‘It’s all fuzzy,’ Smith said.
‘I’ve reached out to Chris and the message that came back is he’s not ready to talk, and when he is, he will reach out,' he added.
As per the disciplinary action against Will Smith, the actor is banned from attending the Oscars for the next 10 years.
