Francesca Eastwood has found herself in legal trouble once again. The actor, daughter of Oscar-winner Clint Eastwood and Titanic star Frances Fisher, was arrested on October 12 in Los Angeles, according to a statement from Beverly Hills Police Department Lieutenant Andrew Myers to E! News on October 15.
The Mrs. Eastwood & Company star was taken into custody after police responded to a domestic violence call around 10:42 p.m. Myers stated that after an investigation, which included statements and evidence of injuries, Francesca was arrested for felony domestic violence.
Details about the alleged victim have not been disclosed. E! News reached out to Francesca and Clint’s representatives for comment but has yet to receive a response.
Francesca, who shares a 6-year-old son, Titan, with actor Alexander Wraith, was previously arrested in 2015 for DUI but later had the charges dismissed after pleading no contest.
Francesca Eastwood, 31, is one of eight children of Unforgiven director Clint Eastwood and his only child with Frances Fisher. Clint, 93, also has Laurie Murray (70), Kimber Lynn Eastwood (60), Kyle Eastwood (56), Alison Eastwood (52), Scott Eastwood (38), Kathryn Eastwood (36), and Morgan Eastwood (27).
Earlier this year, Francesca shared how her iconic father, now a grandfather again after Morgan welcomed a child, behaves differently with his grandchildren compared to his own kids.
‘My dad was very strict with me growing up,’ Francesca told Fox News Digital in August. ‘Now, seeing him as a classic doting grandpa is lovely, though a bit bittersweet,’ she added.
She stated, ‘They have their own special bond, and nurturing that relationship is the most important part of my life right now.’
About Francesa’s career
Francesca started her career as a child actress and was in films like True Crime (1999) and The Stars Fell on Henrietta (1995). She also had her own taste of reality TV fame, starring in Mrs. Eastwood & Company, a show that followed her and her stepmother Dina Eastwood in their daily lives. The show aired in 2012, giving the public more insight into Francesca's personal and professional life.
She appeared in a number of indie films, including M.F.A. (2017), a thriller where she played a young art student seeking justice. Her performance in M.F.A. was praised for its intensity and depth, and the film highlighted her ability to take on darker, more complex roles.
