‘Dune Part 2’: Actor Anya Taylor-Joy confirms to be a part of sci-fi film, here is what we know

Amid buzz of Hollywood actor Anya Taylor-Joy being a part of ‘Dune: Part 2’, her inclusion has been confirmed. The talented actor, known for her roles in ‘Queen’s Gambit’, ‘The Witch’ and ‘The New Mutants’ will reportedly play a significant role in the film.  

‘Dream come true’ for Anya Taylor-Joy 

Rumour mills were abuzz with the news of Anya Taylor-Joy joining the star cast of the film, but it was recently confirmed as the actor surprised everyone by joining the other cast members on the red carpet at the film’s London premiere on February 15. She wore a white outfit, highlighted by her veil for the occasion. The actor also confirmed being a part of ‘Dune: Part 2’ in a recent interview. She said that it was a dream come true moment for her.

A report by ‘Variety’ claimed that Anya Taylor-Joy will be seen in a special appearance. However, her character has been kept secret to raise the anticipation among the fans. The makers of ‘Dune: Part 2’ have maintained complete secrecy about her character so far, fuelling the curiosity.

One of the highest anticipated film of 2024, Denis Villeneuve’s ‘Dune: Part 2’ has a massive star cast. Besides Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya in the lead roles, the film will see Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler and many more in key roles. ‘Dune: Part 2’ is a sequel to 2021’s ‘Dune’ and will be released on March 15.
