The fourth season of the romantic comedy-drama series 'Emily in Paris' starring Lily Collins in the titular role will be released on Netflix in two instalments. The OTT giant made this announcement on Friday and also dropped a video of the cast.
The fourth season of the series will be released in two parts, with the first five episodes premiering on August 15, followed by the second set of episodes slated to release on September 12. "Ooh, la la! EMILY IN PARIS season 4 part 1 premieres on August 15 and part 2 on September 12," wrote Netflix alongside the video that challenges cast members to describe the upcoming season of the Darren Star-created show in three words.
Collins described it as “vulnerable” and “adventurous,” while Camille Razat called it “messy.” Alfie, played by Lucien Laviscount, called it "chaotic" and "heartbreaking." Leroy-Beaulieu, aka Sylvie, said, “This season sums up to one word, revenge." Gabriel, portrayed by Lucas Bravo, yelled that the new season is "Holy f*****g s**t.”
Sharing the video, Lily Collins wrote, “We have a release date or two. I am so excited to announce that season four will be coming to you this summer in two parts, with part one dropping on August 15th. This season does not disappoint, and I can’t wait to show you all what Emily’s been up to, where she travels, and, of course, what she wears. Mark your calendars and get ready for another wild ride.”
Emily will return to continue her fashion-forward adventure. Strolling away from the streets of Paris, the upcoming season will be set up in Italy. The forthcoming season will pick up pieces from the dramatic cliffhanger of its predecessor. With Camille and Gabriel's wedding off the cards and Aflie's departure, it would be interesting to see Emily navigate her love life.
