The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards were held in Los Angeles on Monday night. The event was attended by the who’s who of the entertainment world. Actor Selma Blair, who presented the last award of the night, got emotional as she received a standing ovation from the audience as a tribute to her struggles with multiple sclerosis.
Blair was left in tears and said, ‘I am so, so honoured. Thank you.’ In 2018, she had revealed that she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a disease which impacts the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves of a person. Ever since she made the announcement, Selma has done a lot to raise awareness about this disease.
Selma Blair also posted pictures from the Emmys on Instagram and penned a gratitude note to everyone for accepting her and added how she was basking at the moment.
Recently, Selma announced that she'll participate in the 31st season of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ with her partner Sasha Farber.
