Liam Payne, former One Direction star, has postponed his South America Tour after suffering 'serious kidney infection'.
In a post on social media, he mentioned that doctors have advised him to rest and recover.
In the video message, Payne mentioned that he’s been a little bit unwell recently and was midway into rehearsals for the tour.
'I’ve just been advised that now is really not the time to be out on the road trying to recover from this,' he said.
Liam further said, 'Once I am recovered, I will return with an even bigger, better show'.
Soon after the video was shared online, fans rushed to the comments section to wish speedy recovery to the singer. 'Get well soon! love you and here for you forever and always,' one of the fans wrote. Another social media user shared, 'take care Liam, take all the time you need we will always be here waiting for you.'.
Payne commenced his solo career after One Direction announced that they were going on a break in 2015. He was part of the band’s original team alongside Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Harry Styles.
