Kit Harington and Rose Leslie welcomed their second child, a baby girl. Their representative confirmed the news to a Hollywood news portal Page 6 and said the couple is ‘delighted to have welcomed a little girl into the family.’
The ‘Game of Thrones’ stars, who tied the knot back in 2018, welcomed their first child, a son, in January 2021.
Earlier this year, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kit shared that his son is ‘about to get the shock of his life,’ when Rose and he bring home his new sibling.
He shared, ‘I don’t know if he’s really conceptually understood anything yet. He’s just loving life. My boy loves life. He charges around, and I think he’s going to be a great older brother. It’s just really exciting.’
On The Tonight Show, when Kit was asked about his son's thoughts on a new sibling, he mentioned how they try to familiarize their son with the concept by pointing to Rose's growing tummy and saying, ‘Mommy's baby, mommy's baby.’
In response, their son points to his own tummy and says, ‘My baby.’
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie famously portrayed the star-crossed lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte in the ‘Game of Thrones’.
They first sparked relationship rumours in 2012. After a brief separation, they rekindled their romance. In April 2016, they made their relationship official.
