With Covid-19 continuing to wreak havoc on the plans of many, the 2022 edition of the Grammy Awards has a new air date and a different location.

The Recording Academy has settled on April 3 as the new date, with the Grammys being moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Meanwhile, Trevor Noah, the Emmy Award-winning host of ‘The Daily Show’, will return as host of the rescheduled Grammy Awards.

The Grammy telecast was delayed this year by three weeks because of the fast-spreading Omicron variant, which was also caused by post-holiday Covid-19 outbreak in Los Angeles.
