After garnering praises for 'Aladdin' which garnered over $1 billion at the box office, film-maker Guy Ritchie is back and how! This time round, he will be directing a live-action remake of the 1997 animated film 'Hercules'. The film will be produced by AGBO, the production company run by Avengers film-makers Joe and Anthony Russo.
While Dave Callaham will be penning the script, Disney is currently hunting for more writers for the project.

The Disney film retells the story of Greek legend of Hercules who tries to save Olympus with all his might from Hades, the God of Underworld.
The original film was directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, wherein Tate Donovan essayed the role of 'Hercules', Susan Egan portrayed his love interest Megara and James Woods played Hades.
