Singer Halsey revealed she has been privately battling serious health issues. The singer-songwriter shared a series of videos on Instagram, documenting her medical treatments over an unspecified period. Her specific diagnosis remains unclear.

‘I feel like an old lady,’ Halsey said in the first clip while rubbing her legs in apparent pain.

‘I told myself I’m giving myself two more years to be sick. At 30, I’m having a rebirth and I’m not gonna be sick and I’m gonna look super hot and have lots of energy and I’m just gonna get to re-do my 20s in my 30s,’ she said.

The artist also released a new song titled ‘The End,’ and announced her upcoming fourth studio album, a follow-up to 2021’s ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’.

‘Long story short, I’m lucky to be alive,’ the Grammy-nominated singer wrote in the post’s caption. ‘Short story long, I wrote an album.’

According to The Associated Press, Halsey will donate proceeds from her latest single to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Lupus Research Alliance.

Before this recent revelation, Halsey had already been open about their health struggles, having been diagnosed with conditions like postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren's syndrome, and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS).

Fans rallied in support of Halsey, showering her with love and encouragement after her disclosure.

A person commented, ‘We love you halsey, be brave,’ another one said, ‘The end by Halsey is just another reminder to stop speculating about people’s bodies and social interactions or lack of them because you know nothing about what’s actually happening behind the scenes.’

‘A lot of strength for you, it is very hard to go through those types of health problems. I wish you a speedy recovery, I love you and I wish you healing in the face of all this, you are strong,’ another one said.
