Actor Amber Heard has reportedly quit Hollywood and moved to Madrid, Spain, with her daughter Oonagh. In an article published in Daily Mail on Thursday, journalist Alison Boshoff, a friend of Heard, said, ‘I can reveal that Heard has quit Hollywood and quietly relocated to Spain with her young daughter Oonagh’.
The journalist added, ‘She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise.’
Amber Heard’s friend also told the outlet that the ‘Aquaman’ actor may one day return to Tinseltown. ‘I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right, for the right project,’ the friend explained, according to the Daily Mail report.
Amber Heard sold her Yucca Valley, California home in July 2022 for $1.1 million. Following this, she also spent plenty of time in Spain.
In 2019, Amber Heard’s former husband-actor Johnny Depp sued her for $50 million and claimed that she lied about him abusing her. Amber Heard had countersued him for $100 million, but she lost the trial in June last year and she was ordered by the court to pay Depp $10 million in compensatory damages plus 350,000 in punitive damages.
