Hollywood star Jeremy Renner has been hospitalised after he suffered injuries due to a weather-related accident while plowing snow. The two-time Oscar nominee has starred in multiple Marvel projects as Clint Barton/Hawkeye since the 2011 film ‘Thor’, and is currently playing the lead in the Taylor Sheridan series ‘Mayor of Kingstown’.
The actor’s representative told Variety that Jeremy is in ‘critical but stable condition’ and his family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.
The location of the accident was not confirmed, but according to the Reno Gazette Journal, Renner owns a home in Washoe County, Nevada, and that area was hit by heavy snowfall due to a storm on Near Year’s Eve.
Jeremy Renner earned a Best Actor Oscar nomination in 2010 for ‘The Hurt Locker’, and a Supporting Actor Oscar nomination the following year for ‘The Town’.
The second season of ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ begins on January 15 on Paramount+.
